I started working at Trimble as an intern during my second year of college. Initially, it was overwhelming, but the supportive environment and genuinely kind people made all the difference. I particularly enjoy working here because I get to work alongside my friends, which has made the experience even more enjoyable.
As a computer science intern, I participated in a rotation program that allowed me to switch teams every four months. This experience was invaluable, as it helped me grow both socially and professionally. Although I'm naturally shy and anxious, the warm welcome I received from everyone helped me gain the confidence to share my ideas without fear. I learned that it's okay to make mistakes and that the key is to learn from them.
Throughout my time here, I've developed important skills in communication, especially in stressful situations, and I've learned to express my opinions effectively. I also gained exposure to various technologies and saw firsthand how different teams interact with each other. This experience has made me adaptable and taught me to appreciate the diverse ways that teamwork can be successful. I've come to realize that there's no one "perfect" way to collaborate; it's about finding what works best for each team.
Even as an intern, I've always been treated as a full member of the team. This inclusive culture allowed me to learn from professionals and gain practical experience. I appreciate how the company encourages healthy work habits and supports career growth, offering opportunities to expand my professional path alongside people who genuinely want to see me succeed.
The atmosphere here is always welcoming, and I find myself looking forward to going to the office. It's a place where I can do my job, interact with wonderful people, and continue growing without the fear of being judged. I'm incredibly grateful for this experience and excited about what the future holds. I hope to continue working here for a long time.
