My first interaction with Trimble was in the second year of university when we were taught 3D modelling in C++ by a Trimble employee. At the end of the semester, some students were offered the opportunity to join the TrimbleExperience program. Surprisingly I got an invitation as well. After a month of Angular oriented scholarship, in order to further advance with the program, you had to pass an examination. This is where I blundered, so I had to drop out of the program.

But that was not the end. A few months later, I received an email for a spot in the Cyber Security Team. I was overjoyed. I eagerly accepted the position, looking forward to taking on the role.

Working in this team was truly a bliss. I got a passionate coach that would always help me grow. She would never spoil the solution and would hint me towards it if needed to. I was completely stunned by her ability to code with such incredible speed and deep knowledge of the application. I’m still trying to reach that height. Forever understanding that I am still a student, I was never pressured, so I could finish the project for my dissertation at my own pace. The feedback I received from our clients for the small features that I have implemented is what really kept me motivated to keep on following this line of work.

I got in touch with the newest programming technologies along with a plethora of cyber security tools and practices. The experience I obtained developing software at this company is unparalleled compared to the knowledge I gained at university.

Thanks to the TrimbleXperience program, I had the opportunity to show my abilities to the company, which eventually led to a job offer.
